Mr. Pankewitz has had a successful career in several disciplines with a background in IT consulting, project and programme management, business and film. In 1998 he moved from his native Canada to London, England with The Citigroup Private Bank where he was the Head of eBusiness for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). His first project at the bank was to successfully launch the first Internet banking application for the Private Bank in Europe. Next the bank embarked on a global $25 million dollar project to launch a secure Internet banking portal with services tailored to high net worth clients. The portal is still being used today and can be found at www.thecitigroupprivatebank.com. After 5 years in London it was time for him to rekindle his entrepreneurial spirit, this time in the growing economies of Asia. He moved to Beijing, China and in 2005, along with business partner Steve Turnbull, he recognized the need for quality design, BPO, application and software engineering services. Together they founded VisionTen (www.visionten.net) which delivers projects and solutions with international standards at a lower cost, to clients around the world.
Steve Turnbull brings to VisionTen over 20 years of information technology experience including LAN/WAN networking and administration, ISP setup, equipment acquisition, programming, specialized application set-up, and contact management. Steve's professional experience includes running his own successful IT Company for the past 6 years.
He previously spent two years as a Sr. Network Analyst for Logicorp Data Systems, consulting for several corporations including Enersul, Tiger Industries, First Canadian Title, Alberta Justice and Telus Advanced Communications. Prior to this, he spent several years as Manager of Notebook services for Canadian Occidental Petroleum in Canada, the US and South America. In addition, Steve spent 3 years working in New Zealand and Australia as a Senior Consultant to several international export companies.
